Frozen Easter

It is the coldest Easter in 40 years. I spent it with my parents and my niece Esther in the forest.
On Easter morning we found this strange black caviar-looking stuff.
In the pond we found the rest of these black balls...
The frogs assumed spring started already, but the frost got their eggs.
Esther tried to save the frog eggs by getting the ice off.
We made a new tree bench.
We figured out the frog eggs in the forest must have been taken there by the fox.
He ate at night his very own little black Easter eggs...
