DAKAR - Dear blog, I'm in West Africa, attending DISCOP '09, the first summit for all public and privat TV stations in Africa.
About 450 representatives of broadcasters from all over the continent are present. I was invited to give a presentation on
the Kids News Network. It went very well and I have exchanged about a hundred name cards...

Now I'm really tired of 3 days full time networking. The stupid thing is; although I'm in the famous city Dakar, I haven't seen
anything of it yet! But tomorrow I have the whole day free to finally explore it and take some pictures .. for chavannes.nl :-)
At night I'll fly to Tripoli and than back to cold Amsterdam.
