I also made a picture report on 'the Country Club vs Soweto' click here or look under 'article'.

In autumn most of the days are warm and bright and crispy cool at night.
Melville, a nice area to eat, drink and enjoy live jazz.
Road works in front of SABC, the public broadcaster of South Africa.
The entire city seems under construction; everything is done to welcome fans for the World Cup.
Soweto, an abbreviation for South Western Townships, but according to some it is short for 'So where to?'
- when the black population was moved out of the city center by the Apartheid regime.
Kids playing with tires and a vuvuzela (horn) in the street where Nobel prize winners Mandela and Tutu used to live.
What a save idea to make helmets for soccer fans; the World Cup starts in 3 weeks.
Crossed the coast of Libia this morning, on my way back to Holland. Those white stripes; ash clouds from Iceland?
A friend of mine is actually just driving through this desert. Check out Bram's blog at dustroads.nl
